Tilt-up
This is an early construction photo, just prior to attachment of the extension table. The "working part" of the tablesaw and extension table tilt up, making service to the motor, pullies, and extension/rotation mechanism easier. I mounted the saw on a hardwood frame, which seals the dust pan. Although the BT3000 has a very good dust collection, I cut a lot of MDF, and the fine dust created floats out of the semi-enclosed dust shroud and settles below. a 12" piano hinge is attached to the hardwood frame and shelf. Note that although Ryobi makes and sells an extension table kit, I picked up an extra set of rails from someone online for cheap, and bolted everything together with aluminum angle, homemade T-nuts and hardware.
